The rail clip SKL21 is designed to keep the rail in correct position and to ensure elastic function of the Rail Fastening Systems, in which this rail clip is used. While the spring arm ends lie on the rail foot and exert the clamping force, the middle loop of the clamp has a certain distance to the railfoot and only activates at excessive rail tilting.
The typical field of application for SKL21 clips are High Speed systems on ballasted track.

The rail clip SKL21 is manufactured from hot rolled spring steel, grade 38Si7 (DIN 1.5023).
